Who this is between
These terms govern your use of Homeward, an Ardenholt program operated by Ruzylo Cloud, LLC ("we", "us"). Using Homeward — the app, or the free schedule on this website — means you agree to them.
The service
Homeward is software provided as-is: a seasonal maintenance schedule built from what your home actually has, reminders in the season a job is due, the typical cost of skipping each one, and a record of what you have done that exports to a file you keep.
We work to keep it running and useful, but we offer no uptime guarantee and no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, except where the law requires one.
Not an inspection, not a quote, not a licensed trade
Homeward provides scheduling, reminders and education. It is not a home inspection, an engineering assessment, or a contractor's quote, and it cannot see your actual roof, wiring, drainage or foundation. It tells you when to look.
Repair and replacement figures are typical ranges gathered to give a number its shape, not quotes. Your contractor's price controls, your county's code controls, and intervals genuinely vary with equipment, household size and local rules. Life-safety tasks carry no figure at all, because pricing them would be dishonest.
Gas, electrical, structural, roofing and chimney work must be carried out by suitably licensed and insured professionals in your jurisdiction, and you are responsible for working safely and within local code. Work at height is a real risk and hiring it out is often the correct answer. If you suspect a gas leak, leave and call your utility or emergency services immediately.

Your records are unaffected either way, because they were never anywhere but your device.
Your account, if you ever make one
You do not need an account to use Homeward. Account — optional, always. The seven-day trial, the schedule itself and the free web tool ask for nothing at all.
An account exists only to prove what you own. It holds your email address and your license keys — never your home's details, your address, your equipment, or your maintenance history. Those stay on your device, which means we cannot read them, restore them, or hand them to anyone who asks for them.
If you do make one, keep your sign-in link and any key private, and tell us at [email protected] if you believe either has been misused.
Your device, your records, your responsibility
Because we hold no copy (see the privacy sheet), you are responsible for your device security, for your backups and exports, and for deciding who may see the records you export or print. We cannot recover a maintenance history from a lost, wiped or inaccessible device, and we would not be able to even if you asked us to.
Acceptable use
- Do not use Homeward to harm anyone, or to store records you have no right to hold.
- Do not break, probe, or reverse-engineer the service, except where the law permits it.
- Do not present its schedules or figures as an inspection report, a certification, or a quote.
Ending it
You can stop using Homeward whenever you like: delete the app and nothing of yours is left behind on our side, because nothing of yours was there. We may suspend website services, such as the register, if we reasonably believe these terms are being broken, with notice where that is feasible.
Liability
To the maximum extent the law permits, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of Homeward is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, and disputes will be resolved in the state and federal courts located there.
Changes
If we make a material change we will update this sheet and the effective date at its head, and write once to anyone on the register. Continuing to use Homeward after a change means you accept it. We will not weaken the on-device promise, because it is the product.
